Lost honour in boss battle of 3rd ascendancy and couldn't respawn, coin is gone to re-enter

As per the title, I was fighting the two bosses, lost due to honour, and just stayed on the floor with no option to respawn/retry. I relogged because I couldn't do anything, and now I have no coin to re-enter, and the djin is not giving me one, nor is it in the relic altar.

If you lose, you can only get your first quest coin back. After that, it's one coin per run.

Does that mean I need to wait for another one to drop?
