Fate of the Vaal feedback

A little background, I've got 500 hours in the game since its release and I usually roll 2-3 characters each patch and get to 90+ doing arbiter and the rest of the t3 level bosses etc. This usually takes me about a month or so of casually playing about 2-3 hours a day on average.

That being said, I think I am done with this league already sadly. Id give this patch a 6/10. So here is my feedback


Pros:

The druid is quite fun and thematically feels great overall
The VFX for Druid are awesome
Temples feel decent during the campaign rewards wise

Cons:

Temples

After the campaign the Temples are not intuitive at all. It takes too much time to set them up, run them, and try to figure out whats going on.

If you die learning the architect fight or atziri the temple just closes?? It takes hours sometimes to reach these fights. And the architect resetting all your rooms is the most gut punch feeling there is. I just logged out after this happen and I don't really want to engage with this mechanic again because of it.

Mobs are hard to see and are often hiding from you or hitting you from adjacent rooms.

the rewards are just straight up not really worth doing vs just mapping.

I just skip temples at this point because the thought of placing the tiles and running through the massive labyrinth just gives me a headache.

Druid

The Wisdom of the Magi ascendency point is so vague and doesn't show you what the bonuses are until you socket them into your gear? This is so unintuitive.

Shapeshifting gets stuck in terrain A LOT

Why can't we stay in animal form when interacting with stash or NPC's?

General

A LOT of mob damage feels completely off. Ive been playing a bear, with full investment into armour, max ele res, ele damage taken applies to armour and I still get instantly killed randomly by random mobs in maps.

Some of the RP bosses do is excessive, especially if you die. If the Blademaster kills me I have to run up to the water djinn and watch the entire RP all over again.


Lastly I would just like to say, personally I'd prefer if the game was completed before the end game was built out more. I'd much rather have all the classes, skills, weapons and acts in the game over another Vaal Temple type league. Druid got me to come back this patch and last patch it was act 4 not abyss or vaal temples. Just sayin.
