Encroaching Ground with Briarpatch

The patch doesn't grow over time like the support gem suggests.

Can confirm. Persistent ground doesn't seem to work with it either. The"ground surface" keywords need to claified

The animation of Briarpatch is bugged with the Encroaching Ground Support Gem. The briars don't expand on the ground, but the darkened ground does expand. When checking the damage enemies take, they do actually take damage when walking over the expanded darkened ground. The animation should be fixed so that not only the darkened ground expands but also the briars.
