How is called shots supposed to be even playable??

This is really a head scratcher. This ability is utterly useless and makes marking enemies just destroy the entire points of marks.
The new freezing and voltaic marks both say: "When you debuff an enemy that is marked, you lose the mark and get a 10s buff" They also say: "When you re-apply the mark while you have the buff, you lose the buff" Then called shots, the Ascendancy Deadeye node says, "You mark something around you automatically. Anytime you consume a mark from an enemy, it automatically marks something nearby." Here is how this plays: You activate called shots, you put the Mark of your choice in the skill, and enter combat. Boom, auto-marks an enemy, mark is consumed upon debuffing the enemy, you get a 10s damage buff....then the mark AUTOMATICALLY REAPPLIES to something in radius, which makes you lose you lose the buff nearly instantly. This really shouldn't work like this. The buff should persist for the full duration unless you manually cast the mark again. This current interaction makes Deadeye feel pretty awful. The changes are not exciting or intriguing. I've spent all week trying to make Deadeye work with lightning crossbow skills, and all I have to show for it is a pretty bad headache and a list of questions.
- Why does Voltaic Mark care about electrocute now? How is that in any way usable with Called Shots, considering the buff is removed when the mark is applied again? - I don't like Mirage Archer, I want to use the skills, I don't want the ghost to use the skills. - What am I supposed to do with frenzy charges on my galvanic shards Deadeye? Seriously, what am I supposed to spec into as I finish the campaign and head into maps? Critical weakness? Deadeye is just for Critical strike ? Critical builds take twice as much work to get the damage going, and even if I do get a critical hit What the heck am I supposed to do with the frenzy charges? Please demonstrate how this new Deadeye is supposed to work because I can't figure it out. - Look at the ratio of Pathfinders to Deadeyes in HCSSF. Look at the flat number of Deadeyes less than 25 when I last looked. The 0.4 changes have the overall effect of numbing my feelings. I don't feel like I accomplished anything, the only things I discovered so far are the changes to skills. I should have just dropped Deadeye and focused on the incredibly pushed Ascendancies. I honestly believe GGG should have just disabled the Deadeye ascendancy instead of leaving it in this half-baked condition. I've played POE since Open Beta in the long ago time, and I've never lost faith in GGG. I have focused 90% of my time on the Ranger archetypes no matter the nerfs. I've never hit a brick wall like I have with 0.4. Yall have marred my trust. Game is junk and skill design and reworks are also junk

I don't think the people running the show have a clue what's going on tbh. This is by far the worst this game has ever been and it actually has become complete dog shit. It is simply not fun to play. I've been doing maps all day and got NOTHING. And i mean that, nothing. I feel like the point of the game right now is kill shit and thats it. You get nothing in return.
