Disconnect and map loss

I was about 1/3 through a map (less than like 5 minutes in the map so far) and got disconnected.

It was a 2 mod blue map, so plenty of portals should have been available even if I died during disconnect.

When I reentered game, all the portals were gone and the map was marked as attempted on the atlas, and the boss icon was removed. Waystone is gone. I leveled partway through. I retained that level, but came back into game at zero percent xp, and my main inventory was empty without any of the things I had picked up in that first third of the map. I am a Titan, so I do have the prison wallet that I keep currency in, and that was retained.

I am early enough in maps and levels that its not a huge deal, but still kind of annoying and had this happened at like tier 12+ waystone losing my only waystone of that level, it is the kind of thing that might derail someone's league and just have them rage quit.
