Belay that order!

Makoru always shouts "belay that order" after I choose a destination...do you realize "belay that order" means CANCEL that order? Why in the world would she shout cancel that order right before she takes you to the chosen destination? I know it sounds nautical-ish, but it is wrong and jarring.
