DetonateDead, Afterdeathexplosions, why cant i dodge roll through a pack of "big" mobs?

I could go endlessly with my list of things you HAVE to remove in Poe2 to finally have a GOOD game, but the most important in my opinion would be:
DD/after death explosions Every mechanic which leads to a waiting phase in an ARPG is redundant (that includes dumb, long, immortality phases on bosses btw). Explosions after a DEAD mob are unfun, tilting and a portal (in this game a MAP-) stealer for no reason. IF you need to leave it because its so "fucking cool", give us more than 1 portal (which is another very, very unfun decision btw). The biggest question is still, for years, why the frick are DD/after death explosions still in the game? they are HATED for a reason in poe1 and 2. People want to loot without the constant danger of dying. Its simple - fight over/mob dead - remove mob effects - chill and loot - is it not? - i beat the mob, why should i have to wait. Especially in ABYSS? Green explosions, on green ground, on green mob effects, on green grass, on green screen. Did i mention the GREEN degen zones. OH, there was a green ball which killed me - unlucky - skill issue. I really gave this league a try, but i cant find the motivation to grind for a HH so that i can tank explosions which shouldn't be in the game in the first place. In my opinion: you did forget the A in ARPG - i hope you find it somewhere, this isn't your A game, neither in poe1 nor in poe2. In a D(ead)RPG is no Action - just ALT F4. Oh boy, reminds me of that one Act 4 boss - there is an invulnerability phase where you walk in circles THEN there is an invulnerability phase where it jumps at you and you need to dodge, THEN you can finally hit it only for the entire circus to start again.
And let's not forget the infamous delay every time you need to click on a waypoint or choose a map. 1 year and it is still here. |

There is a mob type, a reaper like dude, which changes into birds and back. When you move, he goes into bird phase, for a few seconds. then after chasing it, it goes back to reaper, now you have to stand still to kill it or it will go back to birdform... xD imagine a rare mob with 7 mods + abyss mods which insta kills you in 0.1 sec, just bcs you cant hit it and you have to stand still to even dmg it |
