Any solutions for crashing and poor performance with Proton this league?

I can't play for more than 30 minutes before crashing to desktop. DX12 crashes less frequently than Vulkan but the performance is the worst it's been since 0.1. I was running the game perfectly last league, with the exception of Abyss fissures which would cripple my fps. Now it's a choice between Vulkan with frequent crashes and meh fps, and DX12 with less frequent crashes but horrendous fps.

I'm out of options so before I just quit playing for awhile I'd like to hear from other Proton/Wine players so I can maybe resolve this.

I'm having same problem also, crashed maybe 20 times during campaign only.
I'n 0.3 i was playing vulkan because Dx12 constant crashes.
But in 0.4 both vulkan and dx12 constant crashes

did the latest patch fix it for you?

No, no fxes so far

The latest patch fixed a lot of things for me, not completely but it was significant.
