Severe Ping Spikes / Packet Loss – Traceroute Indicates Issue Outside ISP Network

Hello,

I am posting this on the forum as suggested by GGG Support after i send them an email today.

While playing Path of Exile 2, I sometimes experience severe ping spikes that make the game practically unplayable. This has happened multiple times in the past and occurred again over the last two days, which is why I am reporting it here.

A few weeks ago, I ran a traceroute while the issue was occurring and found significant packet loss along the connection path.

Because the problem disappears completely when I play using my phone’s mobile hotspot, I contacted my internet service provider to ask whether they could resolve the issue on their end.

After several weeks, my ISP provided a detailed response stating that the packet loss does not occur within their network, but rather on servers that belong to the game operator or its hosting partner.

I Send an Email to the GGG Supports Email, but they told me:

"Thank you for the message and for taking the time to let us know about this. Due to an incredibly large number of support requests, we are not able to look at it in detail here, however if you post the report on the forums, the Development team will be sure to take a look."

Can you Guys help me with this?

Kind regards!

PS:
I have attached screenshots of:

The issue you’re experiencing, is it exhibiting in game by the latency tool showing your networking connection bouncing between 25ms and 300ms regularly? Even if you’re doing nothing but standing there?
I am having the same issue.

I ran a CMD ping google.com -t command, and results were time=8-16ms for 30min straight. Jumpted to 60+ from time to time when i opened a few pages in Chrome.

Monitoring the performance in PoE2, while standing still, the network keps spiking 23-500ping.

Checked with ISP, no connection issues on their end. Did the same test with other games just to see. None of them showed higher than 80ping.

Only PoE2 is having this issue.
I've never had this issue before and I am today. I am not smart enough to do the technical side the other 2 posters have but I have checked other online games and none of them are having this issue so I can only assume its not my ISP as well. And again, I've never had this issue till today. Watching the graphs provided in game nothing else is out of the ordinary except the ping going from 25-30ms to 5-600+ back and forth non stop.
Same issue here. Massive ping spikes, only in poe 2.
Again, the same problem. Every time the league starts I have this same issue.

But this time, I didn't buy the supporter pack. I'll only buy supporter packs after the league launches and if there's no ping issues.

that's how it's been for me. I can stand in my hideout and get the same 300-1k+ spikes the same as when im in a map

sounds like it might be an issue with a server host routing.... please look into this GGG
its been a problem for me since 0.1 and got more frequent later in 0.3.1d i think. and it's still a problem now, my druid will TP back to a previous position sometime or the screen freeze for 1-2sec and i die when it start loading. it's getting more and more unplayable with each patch.
