Brutality support prevents applying ignite with Bringer of Flame

Brutality support prevents elemental damage so under normal circumstances you would not be able to apply ignite or other elemental ailments, but Bringer of Flame (the infernalist ascendancy node) says "All damage from you and your allies contributes to flammability and ignite magnitude." If you're dealing physical damage with brutality support then it seems it should contribute to ignite magnitude. This currently does not happen.
