Ketzuli, High Priest of the Sun crash

Ketzuli's eye beam attack ("Gaze of the Vaal!") sometimes crashes the game. The crash seems to become more frequent over time, as it did not crash at all during my first two attempts, but from the fourth attempt onward this ability crashed the game about 50% of the time. This crash did not close the instance, and upon logging back in the fight continued from where it left off.

I'm having the same issue. Logging back into the fight instantly crashes the client again. I can log into town and repeat the fight, but if that move is used I crash.

Same. I've tried creating new instances, updating my gpu drivers, clearing the shader cache, etc. It seems to be happening with the gaze attack. I cannot get through the fight.

I've had the same thing happen twice now.

Same, can’t get by this fight. I’ve seen another report that it only happens when using a controller.

The same story as the original poster above. I was using controller, first 2 thirds of the fight were fine, then it kept crashing on possibly that attack every time. The times it worked I think it'd given up on that attack and did something else instead. I think I closed and reopened like 7 or 8 times and thankfully did not die so you can brute force through it with some patience.


Had a look at the log file but not seeing anything obvious that's helpful at the actual crash (it's inconsistent) but maybe this helps which is consistent.

Happened 2/2 times to me

Same issue persists today.

Bug still persists. Had this happening today, crashed 4-5 times when using fire gaze and laser.
had to restart and get back into instance and continue the fight until he died.

Same here on PC, not using a controller. crashes when the red beam hits me. Three times already :S.
