Frost darts does not work with spell totem

I can't socket frost darts into the spell totem skill even though I see no reason that it shouldn't work. Frost darts has no cooldown and is a spell so it should be fine.

Having the same issue. According to the description, Frost Darts should work but it doesn't let me socket it into Spell Totem.
