looking for meta builds

I know it would probably will change next season, but i was wondering what website is more reliable to find meta builds, cause i've been seeing a lot of crazy numbers in poeninja and was wandering if they are even real. It is mobylistic better? Builds like hyper speed tank or fogbun look more beliable.
Thanks in advance :)

Like, there are usually 2-3 builds that work each league.
That are clear pretty much on patch notes.

And indeed poe-ninja is good site, but you need to be smart, not sort by dps or something similar.

It shows you the most used classes, you click one.
Then you see the most used skills, you click one.

And you see how those guys are doing, what level they are, what gear they use, stats and so on.

Lets assume that I am POE2 dev, who has no idea that is broken.

I open poe ninja. Most used class - deadeye. Click.
Most used skills Lightning Arrow 84%. Click.
And you see bunch of guys 100 level.

And you see - lightning breach rings, surrounded helmet cheese, headhunter belt,
48% attack speed gloves.

All the broken shit in this universe...

but to the point of doing millions of damage? i was impress with some numbers. i dont really want to get that far. i assume 100 hundred maybe 200 hundred is more realistic for that one in particular. but i think i will look mobylistic because they verified. Thanks though.
I do not know how to explain it to you...

What you see is not per use damage.
This is the damage you do each second.

And yes. Damage each second is supposed to be millions.

My builds, that are more or less the ones you see there, go into that category.

Also mobalitics is written guides by humans. Poe ninja contains statistical data.

Humans talk shit, lie, misinform. Sometimes it will be a streamer seeking attention (money). Sometimes someone who is plain and simple dumb.

Statistical data is statistical data.
It is exactly that good, as good you are making sense of it.

And you will have to make your own mind what is true and what not.

Ironically, starting with this shit I just told you.

"but to the point of doing millions of damage?"

The point? Killing high level monsters. Both mobs and bosses.

As far as POE Ninja is concerned, Skellymancer is absolutely correct. Stats do not lie. They are just stats. The site merely aggregates the data from your build and crunches the numbers. And yes, the people who post their builds there really are dealing millions in damage. And it shows. You don't get your character to Level 100 if you aren't just crushing the end game. And that requires massive DPS...not to mention survivability.

As far as build guides are concerned (such as those on Mobalytics and elsewhere) you have to find a trustworthy builder. Someone who has a name in the POE community. Lots of folks post to those sites. Some of the builds are good. Some not so good. Some are pratically one button builds. And some require six fingers in rapid coordination and complex mechanics...ie not very beginner friendly at all. Of course all of them boast "destroy everything with one hit" etc etc. But much of that is hype.

POE Ninja on the other hand is just raw data. It shows you what builds are being played the most. In this case Deadeye, with Blood Mage and Invoker Monk running a not so close second and third. There's a reason for that. Deadeye is the most OP build in the game right now. However, we are still in early access. And you can be sure GGG is pointing their big bad nerf gun directly at everyone's favorite archer.

In my opinion, which is as subjective as anyone elses, Hollow Palm Invoker is the easiest build to level and scale right into the end game. Once you're there, you'll have to start grinding out incremental advances/changes to make your build stronger.

DPS numbers are inaccurate, it shows raw dps without conditional multipliers. For example, if you play lightning build and decide to put some points into shock multiplier and push it up to 50%, your dps tooltip wont change. Blasphemy with resist decreasing aura? Doesnt count. Elemental penetration? Doesnt count.

The biggest part of DPS in every build is hidden behind conditional multipliers. You wont see real dps ingame nor on poe ninja. You have to use PoB to get close to real number as it can include almost everything.

I had 2k DPS tooltip on ability that did milions DPS on bosses. Endgame builds does milions of real DPS. So some ppl on poe ninja just likes to push dps into its unconditional form just to get up on ladder.

Yep, I’ve noticed the same. My tooltip DPS often looks low, but on bosses it spikes due to all the hidden multipliers. People on PoE Ninja who only chase unconditional DPS don’t understand this.
