Did you ever consider capping how much exp can be lost in a map?

Watching someone lose 50% experience is heartbreaking. All because they fought content for fun that they knew they shouldn't. I'm not sure that mentality should be punished to this extent.
Dying in a map can be punished. Dying multiple times and receive linear punishment is more debatable. (This topic ignores the exp omen, which is just a scuffed contradictory design aspect.) Zuletzt bearbeitet von Immoteph#2974 um 14.11.2025, 03:55:10 Zuletzt angestoßen am 14.11.2025, 12:47:17

Its capped at the bottom of the level, lol. The system doesn't make any sense. Just the fact that is stops at the bottom of a level, instead of sending you to level 1- doesn't make sense. Its either good for the game, or not. Just like you mentioned about the omen, its scuffed. Bad design, bandaid to bad design. It doesn't matter anyways, the game doesn't even scale for leveling. At level 80 you can't even fight monsters at your level. I'm not actually sure where scaling stops, might be 85-90. Point is, the monsters are 10...15...20 levels less than you. Still killing you, providing no gear or experience. Some might consider it a flaw. |
