Boss Benedict - Act 4

Am I the only one who sees problems with this boss? I understand it's a progressive challenge, as far as the bosses are concerned, but the mechanics presented are too random, making the learning curve unfeasible. Besides, why so many one-hit kill mechanics? Where's the fun in that? The labyrinth is fine, but does it make sense to put two lightning pillars at the only exit of the labyrinth, for example? On top of all that, there comes a point where you can't even move around the arena because the whole place has one-hit kill pillars, and to make matters worse, the death ray is currently impossible to dodge. From what I've seen on video platforms, those who managed to complete the challenge did so with an ice build, stunning the boss, but what about the other builds? Can't they complete the content? At the very least, the damage should be nerfed, the areas nerfed, the number of simultaneous pillars limited, and the death ray shouldn't be a one-hit kill.
