Stop early access release the game asap!
Why still early access? No one can truly explain this I think. Zuletzt bearbeitet von SoulOfReapeR#4323 um 31.10.2025, 16:28:00 Zuletzt angestoßen am 31.10.2025, 18:18:30

" Maybe use those lookballs in your head and the jiggly thing? Half the content is missing. El. Oh. Él. If you want them to release it faster, go and apply for a job they're offering, so YOU can literally make it go 1.0 faster. |

its taking them way too long to release the game and it looks complete from what i've seen in gameplay footage

" Complete? Maybe try Kleenex on those lookballs of yours. El oh él. |

The official launch is the most important thing for poe2, it's not something GGG can take lightly. It will be when many people will try the game for the first time, when other many people will try it again after dropping during EA, and if the game isn't in a good spot you end up losing all those players
There's a huge difference from what we have now which is an EA. People will accept a game full of bugs for the most part on a beta, they might complain but it's beta so you know you're not expecting something 100% polished. Performance shit, end game nonexistent, balance nonexistent and so many other problems are "fine" in a beta But the moment they say that the game is officially launched, those problems can't exist anymore, you can't use the "it's beta" excuse at that point. If they do, then the game is dead before even going far because many people, including me, would drop it There's plenty of games that died because of a bad launch, the list is long enough that you could write a book You don't even have to go too far into the past to see this happening, just take a look at borderlands 4. The game is arguably better now than it was on launch, but that 99% drop on player count is most likely never going to recover Go back a bit more into the past and you have another game well known by the community here which is d4. D4 launch was garbage and it lost most of the playerbase by then. The game is much better now (although still sucks), but how many people went back to try it? Although most likely poe2's loss wouldn't be so drastic since it's already better than anything in the market for the genre, a bad launch would make it not be as impactful as it could have been with a good launch It's the difference between wanting something on dark souls level of success and any other random game that gets forgotten quickly As long as GGG is really working on poe2, the community should ask for the game to NOT be released in a rush, not the opposite The only problem is that right now it feels abandoned every 2 months. A waste of time Zuletzt bearbeitet von iHiems#0168 um 31.10.2025, 18:46:02

The game is missing 5 out of 12 intended classes, 2 out of 6 intended campaign acts, major chunks of the end game content, has big key balance questions to resolve between melee vs ranged and life&armor vs es&evasion, has a need for more cosmetics and other things to buy to support its revenue, needs some performance tunings, ..
Deciding to now pour money into advertising the full release and then doing it would be a bad idea. It prolly takes a year more to get all the above points alleviated. Maybe two if there are unexpected hurdles. Zuletzt bearbeitet von tzaeru#0912 um 31.10.2025, 18:18:56
