Delerium on every map = depressing

So in order to map optimally i have to apply oil to all maps to get more rarity etc.. but this turns every single map into a grey scale smoke filled delerium map. its really lame. You guys went thru all the trouble of making a beautiful game with amazing graphics and environments. but i have to essentially make it all grey all the time super depressing to play. would love to see the real map and colors OTHER THAN GREY......

This is indeed an issue. Personally, I prefer gameplay to "efficiency" so I add Delirium rarely.
Delirium + wisp effects + abyss = I'm blind
Neden yaşıyorsun?
Yup it’s such a shame, miss out on the ost too.
There are people in this world who prefer solitude, but there are none who can survive it.
This is why i dont add delirium to my maps.

When it's only the original mechanic it's ok because it doesnt last very long and it's kinda cool.
But i couldnt be playing like that 100% of the time personaly.

Dont know how people can do that when i see it on videos =)

I would be happy if it was removed or reworked for instilled maps and keep it only for the original mechanic.
So i could also instill my maps.

Delirium is the worst PoE1 mechanic in pretty much every aspect, I avoid it like the plague. I rather not progress that fast than having to deal with that shit more often than when it occurs randomly.

I'd be glad if they'd remote it completely.
True OP.

Its actually less depressing than it used to be in poe1.

The insanity voice didnt pull any punches and woukd straight up be like "everything you touch is made worse and no one will care when you die."

So change is happening in the correct direction! :D
"Beidat honored the pact, though Mancy wouldn't take off Doryani’s prototype."
+1 it ruins the joy of the game to see delirium fog for the 1000th time in endgame. would really like a way to play the game with its normal colors and lighting and without hideous obnoxious noise killing the entire experience and hiding all of the visual treats the artists worked so hard on.
