Please Stop wasting time on a dead game

Please GGG stop wasting time and resources on a dead game like Poe 1 and focus on Poe 2.

This game needs a lot of attention and development. Thank you.

Poe2 has potential to be the best game ever, but lack of focus on it will kill it sooner or later.

They have no choice. If they lose the PoE 1 revenue there is almost no hope of them ever fixing PoE 2.

What do you mean, PoE 2 is garbage. It 100% gonna die in a few seasons if they don't make it somewhat enjoyable to get to a enjoyable endgame. xD

And don't take more inspiration from Path of Exile 1. The 1-click screen clear isn't fun and never will be.

Why should they.....POE1 is now the "testing ground" for stuff coming to POE2.

This league we have the Breach rework that will surely come to POE2 next league.

It's not a "waste of time", quite opposite....Having POE1 to test changes or reworks for POE2 comes with the advantage that they don't have to test Reworks of existing content f.e. by themself (becasue more than 100k player will do so over the next 2 months).

With this out of the way they have more time to create & test brandnew & even bigger content for POE2 internaly and can release such huge changes like "Breach Rework" as small sidecontent in POE2 at the same time, a big W for POE2.

Beside that POE1 had a peak of 180k player last league, how is this a "dead game"?

A game that is 12 years old and still has more than 180k player is far away from being dead.....it has probably more player than all 12 year old games on the market together. ;)

For comparison, POE2 had a peak player count of 246k player with 0.2...Only 60k difference for a 12 years old game is prety good imho.

no idea why some people think poe is a dead game. even before the league starts already more people are streaming it on twitch than poe2. it has more viewers too on twitch. i trust this more than steam numbers that can be faked.

also the new league looks amazing. if you compare it to poe2 abyss its not even close. the devs are clearly putting a lot of work into it. and i can almost guarantee you the league wont get a mid league nerf patch that destroys the fun for players like poe2 did. they dont do things like that in poe

I dont mind development of POE1.

The issue is that everything gets focused on 1 game at a time.
They released 0.3.1 and then went radio silent after introducing multiple issues to the game.

And also not fixing old Bugs. My biggest complained about GGG is that they often ignore Bugs completely.
The game is good, but i dont like how its handled.

poe1 = dead game.
best approach is to focus on poe2.
no point continuing with a dead game because there will not be any good outcome.
