40,000,000 hp for T15 bosses, and the loot is still trash?

I dont know what your scaling is... but I can tell you that clearing a map and running the boss are two DIFFERENT things. Why are T15 bosses allowed to scale up to 40,000,000 HP? They arent Pinnacle, and even most pinnacles arent this strong... Now every T15 boss may as well just be the Arbitor. You HAVE to run Meta-builds if you want to do anything in this game. Theres 0 build diversity because nothing but meta-builds can clear end-game mechanics and bosses.

Also, thanks for the ONE EXALTED ORB upon completion. Very highly rewarding for taking out a boss of 40,000,000 HP, on a Super-juiced map.

I assume boss balance is super out of whack because youre trying to limit "O.P." builds...

Yeah, thats cool, but it literally nerfed every other build in the game too, and now no one I know even wants to run maps together because they lose the map buffs, lose the loot, precursors can no longer get used, lose 10% experience on EVERY death, plus losing all the currency that you spend to juice maps... all for ONE exalted orb?? The returns are absolute trash-tier for ANY player 90% of the time, and the punishments are far harsher than any rewards. Gaining experience is a joke with bosses like this, and its a huge waste of time to attempt them... buying Amelioration omens is also joke because the cost to return ratio sucks there as well. Theres no incentive to actually kill bosses anymore, in my opinion.

I may as well start playing this as if it WERE POE 1... Juice the maps for magic and rare monsters, gain my experience, then just leave the map because Boss fights dont really matter. Hows it make it "more meaningful" to waste 50 exalts to get a omen, chaos the map, hit it with delirium, AND Desecrate it to make it "juicy".. then get ONE exalted orb from the boss with 40,000,000 HP?

Nah, I'll just take my experience and kill the map on my own accord, without losing XP.

Also, thanks for the "no more mid-season nerfs". Looks like that was just ignored... Just like the "one button push for every action", "Macros can get you banned" post by your own staff?. Yet, Dodge roll and sprint are literally TWO actions with one button push. The EXACT thing a Player can get banned for... but its ok for you to implement that mechanic in the game to add more "punishment".

Is the game actually allowed to have any fun or rewards? Because it seems like you find a way to kill BOTH for people somehow, EVERY... SINGLE... SEASON so far. Its literally a grind for nothing but scraps. Id rather just sit in my hideout and flip Items, snipe low priced items, and only run maps for Rare enemies.

Anyway, thanks for the garbage loot that ive spent over 10 divs rolling maps for. Super fun...

is this a t4 thing? i havent been seeing the boss books of knowledge dropping so im stuck on t3.
at this point they need to remove the EXP penalty
defense balance is garbage bosses can one tap u whit a regular hit
(and dont tell me they cant because they can)
and boss drop is at the stage of "why an i even killing those bosses ?!"
+1!
i think there is a bug in boss scaling and maybe map scaling since 0.3.1

Sometimes bosses have 4m hp sometimes 40m+, found one with 90m without + percent life, same for rare monsters

It is ok when you play SS build when not you die, loose xp, tablets and need to redo the map

I dont think its a "T4" or "T15" thing necessarily. It seems what it happening is they are trying to scale boss HP based on Player Damage. They want bossfights to be "meaningful"... but "meaningful" to GGG seems to mean "overbearing", "Tedious", and "Lengthy" fights.

I understand that bosses SHOULD NOT be "one-shot", please dont misunderstand... However "Meta-Builds" are literally meant to be Over-powered and expensive builds for a reason. Theyre looking to clear ALL endgame content and bosses. Trying to limit the games "difficulty scale" based on "meta-build damage" doesnt work.

If you can afford to make a meta-build, you should be rewarded and you should be able to "blast maps & bosses". It's literally that simple. Let Metas be O.P.. They literally farm currency, craft, sell, save up, and then spend ALL THEIR CURRENCY making 1 build, THEN juice maps hard AF... so they can efficiently farm MORE currency. These builds are expensive for a reason. "You spend money to make money" is the saying. Not "you spend money only to be punished".

GGG should also know this quite well. Thats literally how a business runs.... You spend money on your company/employees so you can make MORE back to support your business/employees.

The balance should come at the "average build damage" level. Im not saying that "average builds" should clear everything either... but thats where you want you difficulty to scale. this allows for more 'build-diversity', 'fun gameplay', and people wanting to "test other things out'. Also, it forces the player to learn how to improve and scale the build up when they start having issues. this lets player know if they have a bad build (cant kill bosses)... an average to above average build (can kill bosses, but sometimes the boss kills you)... Or Meta- build (annihilate map bosses up to T15, but most likey struggle or get one-tapped by pinnacles, ubers, or the arbitor).

All they have managed to do with "difficulty scaling" is lock everything behind "meta-building" at this point, because thats the only way you can get to the endgame content.

It really do be like that.

The Boss fights are not even good. Boss fights in maps are nothing like Boss fights in teh Campaign. In the Campaign its fine if the fights takes longer except 2 bosses Viper and the Atziri in the interlude.

Bosses in maps get way too buffed overall for the fight to be good.

Giving Bosses and regular enemies more HP isnt a way to make a fight harder. Its a dumb way to fake difficulty.

There lies the meaningful combat everyone is asking for... 0.3.1 really managed to deliver - game's harder, farming is harder, loot is rarer, overall, 11/10 patch, particularly for a mid season (it's almost like they wanted people to stop playing PoE 2 to go to PoE 1 #TinFoilHat)
