When can we have a lock function on the equipped gears?

Just found my helmet was changed into a garbage blue magic one this morning, I guess it was probably because of some kind of misoperation during mapping yesterday...
So can we have a lock function on the equipped gears, like the D4 do, cuz it really takes a lot to get a satisfied gear in POE2...
