Flames of Chayula - Leech effects not working

I am playing an Acolyte of Chayula and utilizing the Walking Dream ascendancy node. The blue and red Flames of Chayula that spawn do not seem to impact any metrics. There is not an icon that indicates the effect(s) are active like they do for the purple flames. Looking at the details of my skills like Ice Strike, the On Hit Effects section that details Mana Leech and Life Leech (or energy shield leech when utilizing Essentia Sanguis) do not change after picking up the blue or red flames. I do not see any indication that either flame is providing any value.

Please note the purple flames seem to work as intended, with icon and damage increases accordingly.
