What are these orange icons?

POE 2 does not have challenges yet, I know when there was a free weekend, alot of people had this icon showing next to their name, including me.

I went to this persons hideout to buy an item from Ange, what is it?

Does it signify that they are the shop owner of the hideout or something?

It's the same icon as from the free weekend, so I'm confused.

I'm aware of the MTX that were added in campaign during the free weekend, it looks like the "3" represents the "3" challenges that were added, even though we don't have a challenge league UI like in POE 1.

This is weird because it only displays while in hideouts, and it displays on the other persons screen, not my own, in my own hideout, and when I'm in his, same thing.

It looks like the icons for unlocking the 3 items during normal gameplay. The icons were a "mistake" and not intended. They were later removed. They weren't supposed to be back again <sigh>.

See thats what I thought! They havent shown up since the weekend event and only today I noticed when I used Ange and I had this poor person test this with me and I think they thought I was nuts. lol

Very weird.
