Change Tablets to apply to the next N Maps
Instead of Tablets applying in a radius around a tower, simply make Tablets apply their effects to the next N number of maps. The player can choose whatever maps to run.
This allows players to stack tablet effects without the chore of needing to find a multi-tower section of the Atlas to overlap. Reduce the number of affected maps as necessary to balance this change. Set a number of maximum active tablets to balance this change, maybe 6-9 tablets. This stops players from traversing the Atlas, uncovering a bunch of towers, but not applying tablets at first, then applying tablets to all of their towers at once to get dozens of active tablets. The unique tablet that allows you to teleport to any visible node could remain as a radius based tablet, or it could be changed to give the player 1 teleport to any visible map of their choosing. Let me know what you think. Thanks Zuletzt angestoßen am 21.09.2025, 15:53:30

Or, you know, let people run the maps they want to run.
Just remove the infinite atlas already and make it a side mechanic like delve. This will NEVER be fun to play in the long run with infinite map complexity (picking between hundreds of maps after playing for a few hours) and towers. |

" I am with you on that. I see that as a separate issue from tablets. Even in a world where we can run whatever maps we want, I think tablets should still apply their effects to the next N maps, instead of some radius mechanic. Zuletzt bearbeitet von Finkster06#2606 um 21.09.2025, 15:54:15

yeah that would be great actually, if they completely replaced it but its inlikely. It would be at least good if like op said to also be able to use tablet on entire atlas that says "choose the map layout for the next N maps", so the next maps you run in any part of atlas would be the layout you want
