Lich Chaos Infernal Legion / RF Companion
![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KYX9SNVzOU So here's a quick showcase of my build, I tried to record some footage showing off all the tech but I kept rambling on and stumbling over my words so I figured I'd just write it all down instead. The video shows the King in the Mist, Olroth, Xesht, Simulacrum wave 13-14-15, the Arbiter and a T15 map with an Abyssal Depths and an Azmiri hunted Boss. Basically it's a Companion Infernal Legion build much like Oscrix's Dinomancer but I think it's different in enough ways to warrant it's own video. I'm not using any weaponswap tech/cheese in my setup. What makes my build different is that I empower the Ignite with Chaos damage through the new Xoph's Pyre Lineage Support. Unholy Might and 2 Evergrasping rings give my companion a ton of Chaos damage through Xoph's Pyre which makes it add to the Ignite Magnitude. The Companion has Extra damage as Fire and Extra damage as Chaos, Increased Area of Effect and Volatile Plants. Unholy Might, 2 x Evergrasping Ring and Entropic Incarnation equals to 100% chaos damage + another 40% from the Rare mod. You can also use an Infernalist with Bringer of Flame or the All Damage Ignites rare mod for a similar effect. (There's some purple flame walls in the footage, that's just for style points, it doesn't really do anything for me). https://maxroll.gg/poe2/pob/dl5rr0c3 In this link you can look at the way I set it up for yourself, I use SRS to Shock with the Esh's Radiance Lineage Support and to stack Wither and I use a Saitha's Spear together with Spearfield to apply bleed and aggravate this bleed to also aggravate the Ignite, basically doubling the damage. Spearfield is also nice for additional CC. I'm considering just using a +2 minion Focus with big ES instead of the spear because it's kind of overkill, but the spear is much cooler! Rupture the Soul helps tremendously with clear which is enabled by Blasphemy with Temporal Chains for even more CC. My ascendency gives me permanent curses which is super useful for things like Simulacrum, rituals and bosses and I amplified them by using the weapon swap passives for it. Frost Bomb adds exposure which lowers resistances even further. I also have enough spirit to run both Upwelling I and II for more damage. In my passive tree I went with efficiency, you can scale the Infernal Legion damage through either Max Life or Damage and I tried picking the most optimal points for this. I use a From Nothing with Crimson Assault and allocated Nourishing Ally and the 2 Defences and Companion Life nodes which aren't showing up on the link. I don't use any clerics, all the companion's sustain comes from Vile Mending and the new Heart of the Well jewel which give a total of 5.9% life regen for the companion, in rare cases I reposition or heal the companion by weapon swapping. Shoutouts to OtterJones and Wroth for their awesome content about the RF Companion, to 1HundredGrade for sharing a lot of similar ideas and ofcourse to Oscrix for working out the Dinomancer setup. I've almost always had some sort of Infernal Legion minion built in my setup, in 0.2 I used a hybrid ED/C Profane Ritual Infernal Legion Zombie build to level with great success even before the minion buffs for example, in 0.2 I used a Blood Elemental as an Ignite vessel and later on a Vile Vulture because they are super aggro and have a really nice life pool but this league it's been the main focus!
