Etiquette for a 2nd account

Is there a GGG etiquette for creating a 2nd account (obviously with a different EA key because I got two extra keys from the Karui Supporter Pack)? Or is there even a value for a creating a 2nd one?

The etiquette is don't have one.

The bonus keys in your pack are for giving to friends.
You get all the extra cosmetics, they get a free copy, y'all enjoy multiplayer.

Care to explain more why that's the etiquette? Is it some form of cheating?

Having more than one account is perfectly fine. It needs to have a separate email address linked (or via Steam/Epic).

You are allowed to run 2 instances of the game client on one PC at the same time.

If you need to play 2 accounts at the same time, they must both be controlled separately, no input mirroring etc. No automation/botting/scripting.

NB: As PoE 2 is resource-intensive, playing both accounts on the same PC at the same time is not advisable.

wasn't there a post showing a guy running 5 or 6 clients at once recently? i wonder how that is even handled in terms of shaders etc, maybe its not as bad

I cannot imagine one PC handling that at all well. Very odd if true.
