The grand quest!

So the quest has apparently been fixed - but not in my case.
I died on HC, decided to continue playing on standard abyss. Entered maps, found and cleared dannig expedition, the grand quest appeared in my quest log - but no conversation option. Dannig appeared in my hideout. And yet - i cant talk to him about the grand quest.
Found him in an map again - still nothing. At this point i found him multiple times.
Tried talking to him in kingsmarch.
Tried talking to him in logbook.
Tried changing hideout.
Tried removing him from hideout and adding him again.
Tried on another character.

Don't really have any other ideas.

I also dont have him. Did you mess arround with party while doing the quest?
In my case I guess I caused Issues because I triggered a mission and changed my group. Maybe the devs have to look into this?

Have the same issue from HC SSF Fate of the Vaal to SSF Fate of the Vaal.

Got it too. Quest says "Go speak with danning" but speaking to him doesnt work.

Maby it will eventually when he gets into HO?

Ok so for me running map with expedition tablet activated this quest further.
