In Game Trade on PS5

Am I the only one whose in game trade site doesn't have all the stat filters? I'm trying to buy a wand for my sorc and I can't filter for plus levels to lightning skills or gain extra damage as lightning.

to find it.

I found I had to revert to the online market because it was so broken.

I personally hate being forced to use any PC to play a console game as I did professional computer repair for over 25 years, so when I sit down a ta P.C. now it translates to "work." This is something the guys and gals at "Get Gud Gaming" don't seem to understand.
I would venture that not a one of them has picked up a controller in their lives as the default focus coding is buggy at best and all over he place.

The lazy college intern P.C. snobbery mentality is real.

What I don't understand is why the POE1 console wasn't ported as it was pretty well designed.
The search should ONLY ever show what's applicable filtering items which cannot appear.
The %# headers are obstructive and whole item default delete should apply when re-searching.
Some aspects cannot be searched such as items which have range values because filtered range is the default and one must know BOTH values to properly search, which without psychic powers is likely impossible.

All in all it was a mirror of the web site, which shares many of the same issues, but robbed of proper explicit, Intrinsic, Enchant, Corrupt selectors.

I do hope they put the pros rather than interns on this, because you get what you pay for and if it's free...

Really the entire menu should function with old school win 95 style expansion trees where only valid options appear in sub trees.
It feels like this was coded by an Apple user where everything gets thrown into a box and good luck finding it.

sorry your experience has been so negative. I've had no issues finding gear that I need so far outside of this one issue. Noted I am not looking for anything end game by any means so I can imagine I just haven't come across any issues yet.


It seems like it was only recently though as I was able to find an amulet and focus the other day with plus levels to spells but that stat filter seems to be gone now. From what I can see maybe it was when they added the Pseudo filters in they eliminated some of the explicit ones, but that is only a guess from me.

Same problem with the gear i’m looking for.
One week ago I was able to select the skill I was expecting but i can’t do that anymore since a few days.

Just use the trading site on your phone... you can send messages through the phone and even instant teleport using the phone if its properly connected to your ps5 account. much better than ingame

Obviously we can use the website,but the in trade site version should have the same functionality as the online version. The whole point is to not have to leave the game, or use another device. So yes that is a work around, but we shouldn’t have to do that, and that shouldn’t be the solution.

Yes there are many mod types not listed.

In some ways this is a blessing as, unless I'm missing something, you have to scroll through the already quite long list to select the ones you want. If there is a way to filter the list by typing in the mod you want I couldn't find it.

The text search at the top only searches by item name, right? Or am I missing something?

I suspect this might be a similar situation to the new currencies not being included in the Trade Market yet - it was a late addition as it wasn't even mentioned in the reveal. So I get the impression they pushed it out 'as is' because the basic functionality is there and it's way better than nothing.

Essentially I think it's a work in progress, hopefully the functionality will improve to better match the web version.

Not for me - my distance vision is good but not close, I can see even the small font on my TV but would need my glasses on to use my tablet for this let alone trying to do it on my phone.

The in-game market is a good start, with some reassurance they are still working on adding more functionality I would be more than happy.
