Played through again and surprised to enjoy it more again

Things that stood out to me as issues

The Abyssal endgame fight:

After the first fight you are given options to proceed that are not clear at all in my opinion. By this point I had sank a lot of time into it and getting a bad outcome because theres no directions is imo a negative experience. It reminded me of the Sekhamas boss fight with the hourglass things. I lost the that my first time and stopped playing the game for a while. This time I stopped the boss fight and looked up a video to understand what the choices meant. It ruins the experience imo but its still better than getting no reward because you didn't understand you were crafting an item, or what "take the finger" means, or that the icons in the background were more options to choose, or that your making a choice that cant be undone currently

The Boss fight Mechanics are also unclear. I stopped attacking and walked around to see when I start taking damage to identify what his attacks were. After 10+ fights I still did not understand the Ice attack. I assume the portals are supposed to help you teleport away from it but it didnt seem to matter where I went. I eventually stopped trying to learn what it was doing and killed it with essentially a one shot.

Overall I thought very highly of the content and enjoyed myself. I still feel like the content being added has a similar frustration point of huge time investment + unclear direction leading to poor outcomes and a negative experiences.
