Attention! New type of deception !
How it works - You looked at a new super profitable strategy for farming the atlas.
You went to the market to buy signs for the towers. You found a sign at a low price (5 exalts), teleport to the shelter to buy and see that the player has several such signs. ![]() In order to buy faster than others, you inattentively buy them all. But the price of 1 of them is not 5 exalts, but 5 divines. Even the icons are similar in color, you can not even see how you made a mistake. ![]() ![]() How to protect your orbs? Contact Agna. Create a request (or several) to buy the Mirror of Kalandra for the amount of your divines and that's it, your funds are in the bank. ![]() Zuletzt angestoßen am 12.09.2025, 09:37:19

it is not new, it is well known by everyone already
PoE1 nowadays looks more and more like a fan-made fork server with tons of custom weird experimental stuff rather than original game with carefully thought out balance brough live to players. --------------------------------------------------- RiP PoE2 [December 9, 2024 - August 29, 2025] Zuletzt bearbeitet von judikator#2053 um 12.09.2025, 03:23:31

Ethical? - no
Deceptive? - yes Avoidable? - also yes. Thank you op for your concerns and good will but we are not streamers showered with divines and usually pay atention when buying stuff. |

I'm probably gonna get some heat for this, but it's the truth whether you like it ir not.
The brain rot of the "speed meta", "efficiency farming" and "optimizing the fun out of the game" have become so severe that not even paying attention to basic things, is normal anymore. "Go fast, farm fast, sell fast, buy fast, kill boss fast, repeat until you puke". - The POE experience. This would never be a problem if people would just check what they are buying. |

" And lastly: Scam? - no. Exactly. People should always look into everything they are buying. There's absolutely no difficulty in quickly but carefully hovering through the items you're buying to check the price. Nobody's rushing you. There's absolutely no pressure on you. 0 excuse. I'm not even sure if I would call this deceptive. If someone's stupid or impatient enough to fall for it, they deserve it. Now I want to do it also just out of principle and teach someone who falls for it a lesson. A lesson in natural selection Zuletzt bearbeitet von edgartheslayer#7880 um 12.09.2025, 06:48:58

I see no reason to do it since all those numbers will be flushed down the toilet in 0.4 hoarding is a pointlest thing to do in leagues/seasons and i doubt you can rum rmt farm in such methods

" It could be a deception or an attempt to scam BUT NEVER assume. I had items in the store where I accidentally price it 1 Div instead of 1 Chaos because I was trying to set multiple items at once and trying to do it quick. As a buyer, it's your job to always double check. If someone decides to sell 3 tablets as 1 Chaos and the other as 100x Divs, so what? You click it and buy it. It's on you. |

" hmm? how does that one work? |

If you're rushing to save currency and it's instead costing you more currency, maybe you shouldn't rush?
