Act 4 Co-op player stuck at Kingsmarch Drawbridge after character selection

When me and my husband play together, and we enter the game at Kingsmarch or use waypoint to get to Kingsmarch, he gets stuck at the end of the drawbridge like an uninvited vampire. Please fix because this makes the game basically unplayable for Act 4. Both of us can start the game in other towns with no problem but for some reason it won’t allow both of us in at Kingsmarch. It brings us to where the Hooded one and the other guy are both standing, then he cant go from drawbridge to enter the town.

Amazingly me and my wife didn't have this problem in the previous league, but in the current one, I can't go past the drawbridge, when playing together. So this hasn't been fixed for 4 months?

Update: we got thorough, heh. My wife had full inventory and didn't receive the book from Rog. Once she did it alone, we can play together again no proven
