Chaos DOT Sorceress help

So I'm messing around on Mobalytics and wanted to see if I could make a char that is straight Chaos damage. Found the Sorcress is the best starting point for that.

I don't know much about the game, if I am honest, and would love if someone could look at this and see if it works at all. I know there's Chaos Lich builds, but I genuinely don't want to use minions.

so far it is
- chaos nodes
- some volatility
- fire because of black flame skill
- unsure if black flame implies that fire skills still burn/ignite even if they do chaos dmg.

I tried to use POB2, but voltility and ignite are not yet included

Bit of a late reply to this sorry! With PoB being cooked your going to have to do a lot of building and testing. Haven't seen many chaos sorcs either, probs cause of bloodmages etc heh.


I started out as blackflame and did some testing around level 80 with less than a D budget. Single target dps feels horrible, aoe is ok. I think the damage numbers for fire spells is off and scaling ignite never felt impactful, i figured double dipping with fire/chaos and adding in a chaos ignite would be good but ye. With some good gear i think it will work ok if you can figure out the single target side.



After the horrible blackflame testing i decided to just all in chaos and see if it was any better and i landed on this build https://poe.ninja/poe2/pob/d8ae. It's basically my first iteration of the idea so still testing things, imagine it can be improved significantly. Single target is very good, Aoe is crazy good, add in time freeze/rewind and your safe with setup time.



This is the 90ish idea for the chaos build https://poe.ninja/poe2/pob/d8be, bit more expensive, but should give 100% damage taken as mana with costs converted to life. Just not sure yet if regen/recoup will suffice.


Thoughts?
