I'm trying to upgrade my mace (level 54) with a gnawed jaw (maximum item level 64) and it's not working, the game says the item level is too high.

" Your mace requires level 54, which is based on the higher of the mace's drop level and the highest modifier level on the item. If you hold Alt over your mace (controller: press R3), you'll see Advanced Descriptions for the item and its modifiers, which will include the item's level. |
