Opening strongboxes causing character to become completely unresponsive sometimes

I've run into this bug a handful of times since 0.3. I ran a lot of logbooks, and specifically barren atolls, so I opened a lot of strongboxes.

Problem description: Sometimes when I open a strongbox, I cannot do anything afterwards -- at all. This isn't my character being frozen for a few seconds because of a strongbox affix. I cannot move, cannot roll, cannot portal out. Trying to portal out of the map results in the game saying I cannot use portal now. The only thing that fixes it is going back to the character screen and relogging.

Context/my experiences: I play minions so I can open strongboxes in combat while waiting for my minions to kill stuff. This might have something to do with my character being hit while opening it, I don't know. I use an anti-freeze charm (Nascent Hope). I initially thought it might be the freeze somehow bugging with the charm, but I just got locked like this while opening a Ventor's Contraption in a normal waystone/map now, so that doesn't seem to be it. This also means this isn't limited to logbooks.

Additional speculation (edit): I have Windows Mouse Keys enabled sometimes to reduce the strain on my mouse hand wrist. Could it be linked to this? Which would also explain why I'm one of the few people affected.

Not a big deal with a minion character in softcore, but this seems pretty gamebreaking for any build that needs to fight their own battles lmao.

Charm is consummed but I now can't move or dodge or use skills

It happens with essences event too. Logging out sometimes fix it, it is very annoying. I've died a lot because of this.

Opening a strongbox makes my player uncontrollable and cant attack. Its like a massive lag spike and I die. Whatever they did this patch made performance so much worse, I literally freeze every 30min in the middle of fights and there is a crap ton of bugs this league.
It literally jsut happened to me in the juicest map. Clicked strongbox, player cant attack, player is ported everywhere like a lagg spike then boom dead. Has happened atleast 50 times this league its so pathetic they havent fix this yet.
