Chaos Trial in Act 3 does not progress past the first fight

In POE2, during the Chaos Trial in Act 3, the trial does not proceed beyond the first fight.

The first fight works fine, but from the second fight onward, no enemies appear and I cannot progress.

Environmental mechanics such as elevator switches are also disabled.

Resetting the instance from the map or even reinstalling the game does not resolve the issue.

It seems the cause is that the Trialmaster does not appear at the second fight arena.

No matter how many times I try, the Trialmaster never spawns for the second fight.

I have this same issue. Any ideas how to fix it?

Uh is it 2nd ascendancy?
If no check how many arenas are listed in the ultimatum

Yeah, its my second ascendancy. i pass the first trail, move onto the next but he doesn't show up and the map just stays empty

Second arena you need to approach that obelisk placed in the arena and click on it to start the survive test
Elevator takes you down to arena at least?
