Siphoning Strike doens't hit, VERY CONSISTENT

When using Siphoning Strike it constantly misses, I can continue spamming it and it'll miss consistently if I'm too far, the accuracy states it's 100% chance to hit at both distances, Shattering Palm is much more consistent for whatever reason.

UPDATE

I can hit without issues using a staff, it's related to hollow palm in some way, maybe unarmed has lower attack range so it doesn't get close enough compared to when using a weapon, maybe it has something to do with all the attack speed that hollow palm gives?

on a side note, these things would be so much easier to test and report if we had a training dummy

I have the exact same problem. Same skill with hollow palm on ps5. Looks and feels like the character doesnt get close enough to the enemies to hit their hitbox with hollow palm.
Having the same problem with a staff on PC with click to move. Very inconsistent.

Also please look into all the palm skills (Hand of Chayula, Shattering Palm, Staggering Palm). They have the same behavior, since launch, and have been reported here a few times. This is the first time I've seen GGG acknowledge this issue. Other skills that dash/teleport/move into melee range to strike are probably affected as well.
