Merchant Tab for F2P

Just curious, why is there not one free merchant tab?

I know this is early access and a new change to the game, but just seems odd (from a player's perspective) that to sell items with this update would require buying specifically a merchant's tab or converting a "premium" tab.

To take advantage of the trade site to sell easily has always required some kind of paid stash tab. Game is not really free, never has been.

The is how they force monetization. It is never changing and I suspect it will only get worse considering no merchant quad tab.

Well, hopefully by release they can at least add one merchant tab for everyone to participate in.

It might actually convert people into buying once they have a taste of the quality of life improvement.

No. However, the existing methods of trading will still be available."

Wow, hopefully that statement is answering it's initial release in 0.3.
