Persistent Login Issue – "Failed to Load Instance" in Path of Exile 2

Dear Support Team,
During the alpha test and the first few days following the launch of the open beta, I was able to log in without any issues. However, after a few days, I began receiving the error message: "Failed to load instance" when attempting to log in.
As an IT technician, I have a solid understanding of technical troubleshooting, and everything appears to be functioning correctly on my end. I have not encountered this issue with any other game. After reviewing the Path of Exile forums, the only workaround I found was to connect via a VPN.
I have tried several solutions, including a complete uninstall and reinstall (just before version 0.3 was released), restarting my router, and using a different ISP—I have two separate internet providers at home. Initially, I considered this a minor issue, assuming it would be resolved as the game matured. However, it has now been 10 months, and I still need to use a VPN to connect, which results in sudden ping spikes and generally higher latency.
I have never experienced this issue with Path of Exile 1 or any other game during this time. Therefore, I would like to ask:
- Is this issue currently being addressed?
- Are you aware that it exists?
- Do you have any advice on what I could do to resolve it?

I’d also like to add that I personally prefer Path of Exile 2 this days and truly appreciate the work you’re doing with it.
