Controller targeting for "Snap" skill
|
I don't know if this was also a problem with cold snap, but the new snap skill doesn't prioritize enemies it can be cast on. Right now, if I'm moving away from an enemy on controller and cast arc, it will target the enemy, but if I then cast Snap, it will turn around and whiff, rather than cast on the enemy I just shocked with arc.
Snap needs to have its targeting fixed with a controller. Right now it often whiffs if you are moving away from a shocked target, but other spells target correctly. Zuletzt angestoßen am 18.12.2025, 08:09:49

The problem with Snap on controller is worse. The skill rarely function when used even when targeting a shocked enemy. The skill cancels itself if you press it's activation button too long, and worse, if the targeted enemy moves even at a slow speed the skill would often miss and fizzle, which feels pretty backwards when using a controller. The skill is seriously clunky on controller without attaching it to a trigger gem.

Another problem I noticed with Snap on controller:
If you back away from a monster and cast Snap on them, instead of walking backwards and casting the spell your character TURNS AROUND, casting the spell behind them at nothing, causing the spell to fizzle. It's the only spell that seems to act this way on controller. |
