Trial of Chaos not giving last ascendancy points

EDIT: Me is big dumbo. It says on the Inscription that you need to fight the boss. It would be helpful to add information about needing 3 pieces to challenge the trialmaster. Also remind the player with a chat message that he has to challenge the boss to get the last points.

Area Level 80 Trial of Chaos not giving the last 2 ascendancy points when clicking on the altar of ascendancy. Used Inscribed Ultimatum said it will give the points.

Same happened to me on the 3rd Trial of Chaos. :/
Either wiki is wrong or the point system makes no sense.

Trial of Chaos that gives 4 ascendencay points - 4 trials. So obviously 7 trials should give 6 points, no?

Same for me finished just now and no points granted

"will grant" on item, but no points
