Corruption Altar Unresponsive - PoE2

I died in round 2 of the trial with no corruption altar. Now there is a corruption altar and I cannot interact with it. In the video below I'm clicking it in every way I can think of, but nothing happens. I'm just trying to get my next 2 ascendancy points.
