Chaos Inoculation Not Working After Relog

During the night before the .3 update while mapping The game disconnected and then auto reconnected. but afterword there was lag and stuttering so I used the menu to go to character select and then back in. the lag was fixed so I continued the map but when I got close to an enemy I just died. I tried to fight them again and once more just died. My final life of the map I went another way to fight different enemies and just died. I believe it was some bug in the Chaos Inoculation node because I was getting killed though my energy shield. Here are screenshots of my first 2 deaths.
