High levels and passive points.
When you're high level and its taking a bit of time to get a level, getting one experience point doesn't feel rewarding.
I realize this would effect game balance overall- however it would be really cool to get more points at higher levels. The passive board is after all, one of the biggest reasons why people play this game... well, at least thats what I think. If I ever talk about this game with anyone, the first that always comes up is the complexity- which is mostly thought of as the passive board. I've played a few characters now to high level. I'm just realizing I'm getting high end levels, like 88 for instance, and realizing I don't really care... because I have next to no reason to care. If I got two points, still meh, three would be pretty good- but thats likely game breaking. Maybe +2 from 80 or something. Leveling does feel pretty decent to me, if you don't die you can level pretty quick- even in high 80s. Last time I hit 90 I remember it feeling like the game didn't plan for 90+. Cool idea, but I'd say not lower than from 90.maybe even 95.
Also that would make xp loss haters cry even more as they have no skills to get there. I love it. |

I cannot even imagime how many tons of topics we'll get about XP penalty if higher levels would give more passives.
At first, people complaining about how difficult to get high levels. Then, they are complaining about their meaningless... as it was intended. So, i don't think this is would be a good change.
