[Quality of Life] Mark Favorite Items & Auto-Sort Inventory

For Content Patch 0.3.0, I urge GGG to take a page from D4 and add ability to mark items as favorites to prevent accidental salvaging/selling and ability to auto-sort your inventory and stash.

Surprised not more support for auto-sort and marking items as favorites. It's only thing I want ported over from D4.

C'mon GGG, please add in 0.3.0.
AutoSort inventory won't happen in PoE because it has a Tetris inventory which is made to mess with.

Also keep in mind there's a lot of "QoL" from Diablo 4 that will never happen in PoE. Why? different phylosophy.

Auto-Sort functionality and Tetris inventory can coexist, just like in D2R.

This is one I definitely don't get their resistance to. Inventory management to that degree really doesn't add anything to the game. Autosort and autodeposit, with locked inventory slots that don't have their contents changed is just great QoL that should be added. The only thing the current system of manual organization adds is RSI, and some D2 nostalgia that's meaningless to more and more people as time goes on. Even with autosort you'd be limited on your space so you'd still be making the actually somewhat interesting decision of which item you should drop to make ton for another, or if it's time to use one of your portals. I'm largely on favor of things that reduce repetitive clicks.

Less on favor of pure autoloot, but I'm liking the compromise of pressing a button that vacuums items shown by your loot filter within a radius, or your presence, or maybe make it scale on light radius.

Yes, repetitive clicks for sorting out inventory is not fun on controller, and having a button to auto-sort would be a nice addition to the game.

Some way to 'lock' an item would be nice. While flagged as 'locked', the item cannot be sold/traded/disenchanted/salvaged/modified by any currency. This would provide protection from any misclicks like an accidental Salvage/Chaos/Divine/Vaaling a piece of gear that you keep on retainer.

Exactly, a very nice QoL feature so you don't accidentally salvage your godly item.
