Expedition mobs, too many off screen attacks.
Expedition is super dangerous, pretty much only because there are tons of MASSIVE aoe attacks that are SUPER long range.
Its almost not even worth attempting. Generally I always get nothing out of expedition encounters. Again, if I die once attempting ANY encounter, its not worth it. All of the above goes against the interactive goal of the game. The mobs also seem to hit much harder than mobs in the map. I play much much safer and longer range against expedition mobs. For a couple reasons, they hit harder, and I have FAR less experience against these unique mobs. I've spent the entire game learning mobs, what to watch out for, how to react to different groups, so on. In comparison to other mobs, I have next to no experience against expedition mobs. I think these mobs may be the only ones that unique to extra content? So, unfamiliarity, long range, big aoe- all combined, it just feels bad. Especially in confined spaces, which is more often than not. It may be by design, but it doesn't make sense to me, that the alter and expedition content feels significantly more difficult than the map.
