Omen of dextral annulment ... 26,000 tribute.

I could go on with this, but the omen system perfectly encapsulates the problem with the economy. I am playing the game and I cannot get omens. When they miraculously appear (with increased omens and rarity), it's roughly once out of every 100 ritual maps, and they often are so expensive I cannot defer them. In the one out of a hundred hours of playtime that I can afford to defer, I then have to keep hoping to be able to defer twenty more times. This is insanity. It's also incredibly easy to patch. Yet there has been no patch. The most dedicated players should be alienated by how little the endgame values player time. It is so bad, and boring, I may not come back next league.

In the meantime, the entire crafting system has been cannibalized by people who only play the economy, create cartels, and then raise the omen costs for everyone. People playing the actual game are punished severely, because it's the worst possible way to get crafting materials. It's also the worst way to get items. You have to BUY or CRAFT items, but if you want to craft items, you need 100 divines for a head piece, 200 for chest, and probably 500-1000 divines to craft a weapon. So the economy is a bunch of whales who can craft high level items and sell them for hundreds of divines, and then the people who actually play the game. Again, this is so easy to patch it's almost insulting it hasn't been done.

Very easy fixes: limit the amount of omens any single player can hold at any given time to a sum that corresponds to crafting, not hoarding (I have to imagine the cartel players have hundreds of whittles - a crafter only needs 50 max at any given time); boost the in-game probability of crafting drops DRAMATICALLY. And do it before the next league. I'm not going to wait six weeks and be excited to play when this league has been abandoned to it's piddling state. Improve the recombinator system so that people don't chaos slam for every beginning craft (driving up all currency prices). None of these fixes likely require anything more than just changing probabilities in your code. I'm actually confused as to why this hasn't been done.
