Viridian Wildwood issue

I just completed one, full clear except a tiny corner. So I killed the last rare from a distance. A Rhoa ran into me from behind and pushed me into the darkness. Whoever came up with the thing where I lose the map and all loot because I dared touch dark needs to calm down. Let me clear the map like any other map. Zero reason to make it like that. None. Just meanness. Just troll. The loot isn't even good. I'll never touch them again until it's changed so I can receive the rewards I work hard for. Stop putting carrots in front of me and pulling them. Stop making the game so pensive and punishing. You say you want new players, but your actions typically say you don't. New player here and the game usually makes me feel unwelcome.
