Softlocked in Sekhema Trial Boss Room via Bug

I was in a godly run in a 4 floor trial of the Sekhemas with my brother. We were hoping to ascend to 8 points.

However, Ashar, The Sand Mother (scorpion boss) has teleported into the reward room of the trial floor and we got soflocked.

(We have since restarted the trials.)
(My brother was using blink during Ashar's jumping from the sand phase, and it might have caused it.)
