I cannot select +2 lvl of socketed bow gems when in the recombinator (XBOX)

THe UI is hard to manage in general, but I'm almost sure at this point that this is bugged. I am trying to craft two thicket bows together, one with T1 attack speed, one with +2 lvl to socketed bow gems. I can select every mod on the bow except for the "sharpshooter's" modifier, the +lvl bow gems. Hopefully this is enough information.
