Trying to improve my cold-snap Sorc build. Any suggestions?

I have a cold snap sorc that also uses fireballs to freeze. Pretty good actually, but it seems to be plateauing a bit as i start endgame. I was wondering if i should go for crit and sacrifice some damage? There seems be no S-tier sorceress builds on like mobalytics. All the S-tier are lightning spear builds. Surprisingly un-diverse. Just looking for some thoughts to better my Sorce build. What is the best Sorceress build in your opinion?

I have a 90s frostbolt stormweaver.

Using the fireball to freeze is a thing, but does it overly complicate it all and diminish returns?

Using frostbolts, snake pit ring, gloves that give 300% crit dmg bonus, then build crit, cold dmg, projectile speed, additional projectiles.

Then you can use cast on crit or cast on freeze (crit more reliable for bigger mobs), to put up ice walls or cold snap.
