Frost bolt ES leech Amazon

I currently have a low 90's Stormweaver that primarily uses Frost bolts with Snake Pit ring and I lvl 90 Amazon that uses a crossbow.

I have been playing around with the other ascendency nodes for Amazon, and have been thinking about:

Mystic Harvest - Life leech applies to elemental and physical damage


So, the build idea is a high ES with Chaos Inoculation, Essentia Sanguis
Furtive Wraps (to covert life leech to ES leech). Leeching life from all frost damage done by the bolts, walls, and explosions.

I wish there was some in-game visibility into leeching numbers, but it seems it is supposed to by a little mysterious.

And how do you get leech on spells? Theres like one unique and bloodmage that can leech from spells. Mystic Harvest wont magicaly turn attack leech into spell leech.

Yup, that was the missing thing as I looked at it in practice.

Perhaps there will be some options to get leech from spells, or at least some conversion factor option on an item.


I was thinking about this though, using covenant altar robe to get 5% spell damage leeched as life, then add soul tether belt to give excess life as ES leech. Yes you would be losing ES constantly, but you would be filling it constantly.

If you have 4000 ES, you will lose 200 per second with the belt. However, if you are getting 5% back as of dmg as leech that will easily be filled faster than you are losing.

If you use Essentia Sanguinis instead of the belt, then I can drop chaos inoculation and switch to all potions give life and mana to compensate for life cost of spells.
